Education: LSU- Shreveport- B.S. 1981: LSU Medical Center- Shreveport- MD 1987; LSUMC Internal Medicine Residency 1987-1990; LSUMC Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship 1990-1993; University of Tennessee Knoxville Nuclear Fellowship with a focus on dual and single-photon Cardiovascular Imaging Jan 1994- June 1994.

Specialized Training/Certifications: Board certified in Cardiovascular Medicine- current; Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology 1997-2007; 2007- 2017.

Personal Interests: My family and I moved to Colorado in 2003 from Little Rock, Arkansas because we couldn’t resist the call of the mountains- we still love skiing, snowshoeing, cycling, and hiking in our beautiful mountains! I have been so fortunate to do what I love, practicing Cardiology, since 1993!

I love Colorado Springs and have been involved in the American Heart Association here since arriving in 2003. I am currently President of the Board of Directors.

In addition to enjoying the beautiful outdoors here in our state, I also enjoy cooking and traveling with my family- which includes my husband Brad, and our son Aidan who is a student at CU Boulder- SKO Buffs!!
