Personal Interests: A native of Colorado Springs, I am honored to serve the community in which I grew up. I am hoping to give back some of what I have gained from this community growing up.
I began a calling in medicine after volunteering as a 13-year-old at Penrose Community Hospital. This interest, then passion, was fortified by my father’s bouts with illness when I became an older teenager. Now I am pleased to serve alongside many of the same caregivers that were once mentors.
In practice, I strive to teach and help each patient understand as much as they desire. To elucidate their diagnosis and enable them to collaborate in treatment decisions.
When not caring for cardiology patients, I enjoy reading, traveling, movies, creating experiences, sharing life with my family, and fostering relationships with old and new friends.
The best advice I have received and my life’s personal mantra come from Mohandas “Mahatma” Gandhi, “be the change you want to see in the world.”
